Writing and Fatigue

Everyone who writes eventually hits a wall.  It’s not necessarily a lack of ideas but rather a lack of energy.  We all hit fatigue, and for anyone new to writing, whether it is fiction or SEO content, it is important to take breaks in order to keep motivated.  If you look at a screen for 2 or 3 hours at a time, take an hour or so to relax.  Go to the gym, go for a walk, or have something to eat.  Do something other than looking at a screen.  And when you’re done with your work, read a book.  Again, stay away from the screen.  About a month ago I finally hit my wall.  I’d burned myself out so much with work that is was impossible for me to find the energy or motivation to work.  So, I took a week off, relaxed, and worked on my own projects.  It’s nice to be into your work, but don’t let it consume you to the point where you dread coming to the keyboard.
