Zoozil is Looking for Interns

Hello everyone!

Here at Zoozil, we believe that reading can change the world. We’re a children’s and YA literature publishing company, and we’re looking for a couple author recruitment interns to join our team. You would be working on the front lines of our company by helping determine what historical topics we turn into novels, and then finding new & experienced authors to write our one-of-a-kind interactive historical fiction.

Along with having a keen critical eye, applicants should should be extremely self-motivated with great initiative and follow-up skills, a great judge of what makes good and bad writing, and should have a passion for empowering the next generation through reading. Please send a resume, cover letter describing why you’re interested, and if you have it, a fiction writing sample (unpublished is fine).

Examples of kind of work an Author Recruitment Intern might do in an average day:
-Post an ad online seeking authors
-Evaluate a writing sample from a hopeful author
-Asking for a proposal from a compelling author who wants to write for us
-Evaluating proposals for potential Zoozil short stories from hopeful authors
-Contacting college and university undergraduate and graduate writing programs to form partnerships, where they connect us with their most talented students to potentially become authors with us
-Having contacts sign our non disclosure agreement and adding all of their info, writing samples, etc to our CRM
-Brainstorming great historical/educational topics for Zoozil stories, then finding the perfect authors to write them

Please send inquiries to Luke [@] Zoozil [.] com.
